On-going faith formation is essential if we want to live as a disciple of Jesus. Programs, speakers, workshops and activities take place throughout the year.
Know Jesus. Make Him known.
Children are baptized under the condition that parents promise to raise the child as a Catholic Christian. Classes are held about once a month for parents and godparents in preparation for this wonderful sacrament.
To get started, please contact the Parish Office at least two months before the desired baptism date.
Infant Baptism is for children who have not yet reached their seventh birthday. Please visit our Youth Ministry page for baptism of children age seven to 12th grade. For adult baptism, please call the parish office or send an email.
"I have baptized you with water; he will baptize you with the holy Spirit."
Nuts and Bolts focuses on the essentials of our Catholic faith. Part lecture and part question and answer, this program is typically held once a week for about four to five weeks during Lent and Advent. Check the bulletin for exact dates.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) welcomes and initiates those who choose to become Catholic by providing Catholic Christian formation.
RCIA is for adults who have never been baptized as a Christian, adults who have been baptized in another Christian faith and now want to be Catholic, and adults who have been baptized Catholic but never received the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.
There are several steps in RCIA as participants "undergo a process of conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments... " (USCCB).
