Welcome to Saint Irenaeus!

We're so happy you're here. We'd like to thank you for checking out our church which has been part of the Cypress community since 1961 - a time when there were more cows than Catholics! We’re an active Catholic community striving daily to strengthen our relationship with God, embrace His message, and answer His call to serve and love one another. If you've been looking for a way to nurture your faith, reconnect, get involved, or simply for a place to pray, we welcome you with open arms!

Are you a returning Catholic?

Welcome! We are delighted to have you visiting our website. Join us at our next Sunday Mass or whenever the Spirit moves you!

Curious about what sets Saint Irenaeus apart from other churches? It is the people, like you, who turn our congregation into a friendly, extended, family. We hear it time and time again, "Saint Irenaeus feels like home." It is a great place to pray, worship, socialize, revitalize your faith, and volunteer.

If you are feeling a little tentative about attending Mass after being away, our Adult Faith Formation (AFF) is here for you! Send an email or call our Parish Office and we will arrange for someone from AFF to accompany you.

Thinking about becoming Catholic?

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) welcomes and initiates those who choose to become Catholic by providing Catholic Christian formation. OCIA is for adults who have never been baptized as a Christian, and for adults who have been baptized in another Christian faith and now want to be Catholic. Our OCIA program begins in September.

This is a remarkable process that will change how you see the world. Want to learn more? Call us at 714-826-0760 or send an email.
